Signing up: three entry points, one framework
Signing up is free. It starts with verifying a phone number — one person, one number — then it differs depending on whether you are looking for a spouse or accompanying someone who is.

You fill in your profile, you search, you send requests. Her wali reviews the request before the conversation opens, then joins it at the end of the discovery phase. You know this from the outset: there is no surprise along the way.

I am a woman
You fill in your profile and you appoint your wali — during sign-up or later. Without a confirmed wali you can browse profiles, save favourites and receive requests; messaging opens once he has accepted the mandate. Naming a substitute will spare you a deadlock if he stops answering.

I am a wali
Someone has appointed you and sent an invitation, or you are accompanying a relative you are signing up yourself. Your account is separate from hers: you see neither her searches, nor her other conversations, nor the discovery phase. You will be asked for a reasoned opinion, and chased if you are slow.

What you will be asked for
- A phone number, verified by a code. It appears on no profile.
- An email address and a password.
- Around sixty profile fields, saved as you go.
- A photo, optional, which can stay blurred.
- For a woman: her wali’s number, and if possible a substitute’s.
What you will never be asked for
- No bank details: signing up and building a profile are free.
- No identity document to sign up.
- No access to your contacts, your location or your social accounts.
- No marketing consent: your address is used for the service and nothing else.
